Kenyan striker Michael Olunga struck a brace as IF Djurgardens hammered Malmo FF 3-1 in a Swedish league match played on Sunday.
The former Gor Mahia striker scored in the 17th minute and at the hour mark to continue his goal scoring prowess at Tele2 Arena. Djurgården had a free-kick midway through the Malmö court in the 6th minutes. Kevin Walker was polite enough to leave the state to Magnus Eriksson, whose heavy left-foot shot was guided into the net via a Malmo legs.
Olunga then stepped forward, snatched the ball smartly and put full speed against Johan Wiland before unleashing a shot to score his sixth goal of the season in as many matches and put his side comfortably in the driver’s seat with quarter of an hour played.
The Kenya striker then complete his brace at the hour mark after beating his marker to score. Djurgardens are now on 28 points in the league table.
